What actually changes between plans
The differences that matter are architectural: where PostgreSQL runs, how many Odoo nodes serve traffic, and whether there is a load balancer in front of them.

No per-user hosting fees
Adding an Odoo user does not change what your infrastructure costs, so it does not change your OdooTube bill. Odoo licensing is a separate matter between you and Odoo — OdooTube prices the infrastructure underneath it.
What does move the price is what the environment actually has to do.
Not charged per environment
Create, stop, rebuild, and restore staging environments as needed. Available compute and storage depend on your hosting plan.
In practice: there is no per-staging licence fee and no expiry timer, but a staging environment runs on real compute. How many you can hold at once comes down to the capacity you are subscribed to, and we will tell you plainly when a plan needs to grow rather than letting an environment quietly fail.
Designed to support controlled and compliance-sensitive Odoo environments
Regulated provides infrastructure and operational controls commonly required in controlled and compliance-sensitive environments: private networking, restricted administration, encryption with customer-managed keys where required, a deployment audit trail, and retention you set.
Regulated provides infrastructure and operational controls commonly required in controlled and compliance-sensitive environments. It does not cover the rest of what an assessment examines: your organizational and procedural controls, identity and device management, policies, personnel security, training, physical security, and the scoping and evidence of your own compliance programme remain yours.
Buying this plan does not make your organization CMMC compliant, ITAR registered, or authorized under any other scheme, and OdooNex neither holds nor issues those certifications. What this plan provides is an Odoo environment whose infrastructure controls are built to support the obligations you carry, and the evidence your assessors ask for.
Pricing questions
Does the price change as we add Odoo users?
No. OdooTube has no per-user hosting fee. Users affect the load on the environment, so a large enough team may eventually need more compute — but that is a capacity conversation, not a per-seat charge. Odoo Enterprise licensing stays a separate agreement between you and Odoo.
Is Business just Launch with more memory?
No. Launch runs on AWS Lightsail, a simplified single-server product. Business moves the environment onto a dedicated EC2 instance with EBS volumes, S3 backup storage, and CloudWatch monitoring you can size independently. The step up is the architecture, and the ceiling it gives you.
Why are Scale and Regulated priced "from"?
Because they are multi-node environments with a managed database, and the right size depends on your traffic, data volume, availability target, and security requirements. The stated figure is a genuine starting point for a working architecture, not a headline number. Final pricing depends on compute, database, storage, availability, traffic, and infrastructure requirements.
Can we start on Launch and move up later?
Yes, and it is a normal migration rather than a rebuild: the database and filestore move, the addons redeploy from the same repository, and the release history comes with you. Moving from local PostgreSQL to RDS is the substantive part, and we rehearse it on a staging environment first.
Can we buy Launch or Business without talking to sales?
Not yet. Online checkout for these plans is being finished, so for now Launch and Business start with a short onboarding conversation — we confirm the configuration, set the environment up, and hand it over. Nothing about the published price changes.
Scale and Regulated go through an architecture review either way, because sizing them without looking at your workload would be guesswork.
What is not included in the hosting price?
Odoo Enterprise licensing, one-off migration work to get you onto the platform, and custom development. Those are quoted separately so the recurring infrastructure cost stays legible.
